Phase Three Public Meetings
Phase Three of East Edisto's public input process began on March 25 and concluded on April 21. The MWV planning team presented the preliminary master plan for East Edisto and outlined how public input and the analysis of the expert planners worked together to inform the plan.
During this round, we held another series of meetings for residents of the communities in and around East Edisto and for the public. The program included a brief presentation of the research work of our consultant team and an electronic audience survey to gauge reaction to specific plan elements and priorities. Then, we opened discussion stations where the public could meet our technical partners, ask questions, and share information.
All meetings offered the public the opportunity to hear from and ask questions of MeadWestvaco leadership and planning partners before a final master plan for East Edisto will be completed in late summer.
